About Sleepy Hollow

A cozy cabin with a wooden deck and patio furniture, surrounded by autumn trees with yellow leaves.

The Cabin

Enjoy an open living space with a fully-equipped, gourmet kitchen, dining area, and cozy living room. Two bedroom suites feature king beds and upscale bathrooms with steam showers. Each bedroom opens onto a small deck where you can sit among the aspen trees.

The Bunkhouse

The Bunkhouse is a sweet studio cabin a short distance up the hill from the Main Cabin. It sleeps three with a queen bed and single bunk. A private deck offers stunning views of Longs Peak. Come spring of 2026, the Bunkhouse will also have a private bath and kitchenette.

The Barn

The Spa Barn is a barn that has been converted into a serene gathering space next to pristine Rock Creek. With a spring-fed, cedar hot tub, room to practice yoga, and a fire circle to lounge by the river, the Spa Barn invites you into tranquility.

Sleepy Hollow is a unique, rustic retreat at the southern edge of Rocky Mountain National Park. The property includes two beautifully restored cabins and a barn. Artistic attention to detail throughout the indoor and outdoor spaces offers a rare chance to relax in Colorado style.

The property offers both a convenient location and unparalleled access to the wilderness. After a day exploring nearby towns and trails, look forward to a quiet night surrounded by simple luxury and old west ambiance.

Ferncliff

Tucked along the Peak-to-Peak Highway just south of Rocky Mountain National Park, Ferncliff began as a handful of rough-hewn pioneer cabins along the creek. By the early 1900s it had grown into a modest ranching and resort outpost, with Ferncliff Ranch welcoming summer visitors wanting to escape the heat of the plains. Today, Ferncliff is a tiny historic dot on the map of “greater Allenspark,” a place where travelers once again come to rest, regroup, and breathe high-country air.

What our guests have to say…

  • This cabin in the woods was absolutely magical! The views were breathtaking. We spent lots of time just sitting out on the balcony or down by the bubbling stream. The spa area was Instagram worthy, with lights and an area for outdoor yoga.

    Heather

  • The outdoor spaces are the areas we enjoyed the most. Sipping coffee creek side in the morning was a great way to start the day. After long days of hiking, evening soaks in the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind.

    Paul

  • Situated in Roosevelt National Forest, which is right outside of Rocky Mountain National Park, with the same topography minus the crowds, this cabin is a little slice of heaven. The renovation of this 100 year old cabin is just incredible.
